South London Celtic Olympics

On 20 March 2011, the club hosted the inaugural South London Celtic Olympics, at the Broad Green Tavern.

This was a fun occasion for all the family on League Cup Final day.

We had teams taking part in:

• Table football

• Wii football

• Darts

• Xbox Kinect

• Indoor penalties

Tam Burke was crowned South London Celtic Olympic Overall champion – having cleaned up in the Penalties, the Table Football (with Ciaran) and the Wii football (with Maria’s help). Although the kids did beat the adults on the Wii.

Junior Overall Champ was Tommy Luke – winner of the Kids Darts and the Wii (with Conal).

Other winners were: Martin Furey – Darts, James Furey – Kids Penalties, Conor & Patrick Furey – Kids Table Football
