Season
2009/10 saw the Bhoys of Croydon Celtic Supporters Club reach our 10th
Anniversary.
To
celebrate this milestone we held a special Anniversary party on 13
February 2010 at the Broad Green Tavern - the home of the Bhoys of Croydon.
Appearing at the party
we had as Guests of Honour:
Providing
the entertainment on the night were the Bible
Code Sundays (formerly Slainte), a rising London Irish folk/rock band
and Patrick
Rolink, Glasgow Comedian and our MC for the evening. We
had a great evening for the club and the entertainment and craic lasted long
into the night. Many
thanks to all who attended our anniversary function, especially our sponsors and those who contributed to
our charity auction. Thanks to your efforts and generosity we have raised £1,500 for our chosen
charity, St Christopher's
Hospice in Sydenham.
See
below for some photos from the night:
We are delighted to have raised a sum of £1,500 for
St Christopher's
Hospice in Sydenham, South London. On 7 May 2010 a group from the club
attended an evening of traditional Irish music in the hospice and presented them
with the cheque.
